Maier and Maier

Thomas Maier and Susan Maier work for Prudential Carolinas Realty and are the first Brother/Sister Team to work out of the Oakwood Office across from Thruway Shopping Center.

One half of our dynamic team is Susan Maier. Susan was born and raised in Winston-Salem and graduated with a degree in Public Relations from North Carolina State University. Susan brings solid sales and managerial skills with her background in Pharmaceutical Sales. Susan stays active in the community by serving on both the Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Social Committee for the Winston-Salem Association of Realtors®.  She serves as The Executive Chair of City Dash an organization that promotes growth and retention among young professionals in Winston Salem. Susan also belongs to the Winston-Salem Sports and Social Club and to the United Way Leadership Circle, along with being active in Junior League and the local Womens Council. 

The other half of our team is Thomas Maier. Thomas was born and raised in Winston-Salem and attended Elon University where he was an athlete on Elon football team along with being recognized on the President's list throughout his years there. Thomas is active in the community with his involvement in the Winston-Salem Association of Realtors® on the Community Service Committee and serves with Susan as the Executive Chair of City Dash. Thomas is a regular staff volunteer at the Samaritan Inn, a place to help those who don't have homes get back on their feet, and he belongs to the United Way Leadership Circle along with being one of the founding members of the United Way Young Leaders. Thomas came to Prudential from working with a local law firm and has experience with the legal side of real estate transactions.

In the past years, we have consistenly averaged over 40 transactions in a variety of fields ranging from first time homebuyers to fine homes, and from commercial office space to land for development. In addition, we are very fortunate and proud to represent several fine builders in new construction neighborhoods around the city and would love to work with you on a pairing with them for your custom dream home. 

If anybody understands the importance of family, it is Thomas and Susan Maier. We grew up in a tight knit family and hold to a strong belief that it is a very special component in one's life. That, along with our combined hard work, ingenuity, and energy, will provide you and those you know with the best and most successful real estate experience!  We strive to consistently study the market conditions and give our clients honest and open advice on how to best sell their current home or buy a new one. 

We chose to come back and settle in Winston-Salem because we believe in this city and all its boundless potential. Both of us are involved in downtown organizations that are committed to promote growth in Winston-Salem. We are members of the Chamber of Commerce. Truly, we are passionate about this city and the fine people who live here. We are filled with enthusiasm about our local market and the direction Winston-Salem is headed in the future!
